I received my Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 1999, my Orthopedic Specialist Certification (OCS) in 2008 and a Clinical Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2013 at the University of St Augustine in Florida.
I have been practicing Physical Therapy for 14+ years primarily in outpatient orthopedic settings. Hours of continuing education? Well more than a thousand. New information, techniques and research all feed my soul and keep me excited to get back to my patients. I have tons of experience with people ages 6-96 suffering from back and all types of extremity injuries, I strive to keep up on the latest surgical techniques and therefore, rehab. I love to modify exercise programs so people can continue an active lifestyle that meets their needs and desires.
I love to be active by hitting the slopes in the winter, trail running, biking, swimming and mixing up resistance exercise routines in between. Now, I have the most fun doing all these things and then some with my family (my 5-yr old makes me earn it on the soccer field).
Best in Health,
Katharine Hauge, PT, DPT, OCS
